Zhu Bingren, as a representative inheritor of national intangible cultural heritage bronze sculpture techniques, pioneered the "molten copper" process (moldless controllable casting technology) when casting the Tianning Temple Pagoda in Changzhou in 2006.

Contemporary bronze sculpture integrates modern technology with traditional techniques, introducing high-precision 3D digital technology to improve production efficiency. 3D scan data can be directly used for 3D printing or CNC machining. This technique is widely used in the construction of bronze buildings such as the Leifeng Pagoda and the Lingyin Temple Bronze Hall, and can be seen in large-scale bronze sculptures by artists such as Henry Moore in the international art world.
